Accent Fever by Todd Ukena

This solo was written as a challenge to the beginner to intermediate student. Sticking for the most part has been left out so the performers would have to make decisions on the best sticking for themselves.

Beginning accent patterns are included but are altered slightly so that they will have to make sure they are playing the right accent patterns rather than getting into the repetition of the rhythms.

Preparing the stick position for flams and dynamics ahead of time is important. Moving from one drum to another just creates new problems to consider and work through.
